Established in 1984, Volunteer Development Scotland (VDS) support and develop the Voluntary sector in Scotland. Working at both national and local level, VDS come into contact with a wide target audience and are seen as the professional point of reference for Volunteering issues. Vizibility was commissioned to help VDS redefine their key messages and communications material in a style and format which was consistent with the professional image they portray. Work to date has extended to annual reports and reviews, brand guideline documents, internal and external key messaging documents, exhibition material and trade and consumer advertising programmes.
We recently launched the 2010 Volunteer Development Scotland annual report, revealing a new brand indent which will be rolled out as part of a new 3 year marketing communication strategy for the organisation. The brief... keeping the original brand, move the visual presence of the organisation forward and develop a series of communication tools which can be used across the complex matrix of different audiences the organisation engage with. A toolkit is currently being developed to bring all of the visual communication elements together and enable them to be shared with key staff and stakeholders.
